We are a dynamic group of special events professionals, dedicated to providing educational and networking opportunities for our members, as well as the special events industry at large. Collaborative. Creative. Credible.

…it is these three words which best describe the members of the Minneapolis-St. Paul Chapter of ISES. In the past few years, it has been the motivation of the Board of Directors to discern a positioning statement we felt would demonstrate the benefits of ISES membership to our members and to our community. Under the leadership of board member Lisa Marie Borchert and ISES member Cheryl Kranz, one sentence emerged to be at the hearts of those actively involved with our local chapter: “A collaborative community of creative professionals dedicated to continuing education and service in special events.” From here, we arrived at our three words:

Collaborative: It is who we work with and for; our teams and our audience

Creative: It is how we do what we do; innovation

Credible: It is about our process and our expertise; as professionals seeking results

As we approach our chapter’s 10th Anniversary, we excitedly roll out this operating position for our local chapter. We believe Collaborative. Creative. Credible. is the Minneapolis-St. Paul Chapter’s core personality and how we as a local chapter support the International ISES brand: “Dedicated and educated to deliver creative excellence and professionalism in special events."

September 2008 marks the 10th Anniversary of the ISES Minneapolis-St. Paul Chapter. As we count down to the celebration, this month, founding member Diana Brasch remises on the chapter’s beginnings.

Annual Restaurant Tour

8:00-11:00 pm - Nachito Herrera performance at the Dakota (optional)

The Restaurant Tour is limited to the 100 attendees.  Transportation for the tour departs from the Dakota at 4:30 pm. 

Registration for non-ISES members opens on May 29, 2008.

ISES Members: $35.00
ISES Associates: $40.00*
Guests: $50.00
Student Members: $15.00**

*Associates are co-workers of an also attending ISES Member.
**Students who are NOT ISES Members must pay the Guest rate.

There will be a $10.00 surcharge for anyone who registers after this deadline.
Cancellations after Monday, June 9, 2008 and no-shows will be billed.
